Thanks for this COOL experience!! Chrystal clear water, beautiful colours, lovely environment and great guiding by Hedinn. A perfect end of a perfect holiday in Iceland. Thanks for the special experience and the nice photo's taken during the trip.
What an unbelievable experience to dive the Silfra! It was a quite spontaneous idea to dive in Iceland and I am glad I did it! The water so clear, visibility of up to 150 m and the scenery just breathtaking! Thanks for this great adventure and guiding us Héðinn and Magnus! Highly recommended!
Awesome dive - 10 out of 10. The cold was a new experience, but once your face numbs, you can focus on the brilliant sights through crystal clear water. I definitely recommend this experience for anyone bored with the typical reef or wreck dives.
That was an awesome dive trip! Silfra is definetly on of the top ten in this world!!! Thanks to Hedinn Olafsson for this nice trip. This was adventure pure
What an amazing experience!!! Hope to be back soon to repeat it :-)
My wife and i left this till the last day of our holiday knowing it would top off an amazing visit, we were not disappointed, the clarity of the water was like nothing ive experienced, and the taste was amazing, one thing i will say, wear thermal undergarments at the least it gets a bit chilly! apart from that its a memory that i will remember forever, and hopefully will be back to repeat sooner rather than later.
The water was a LOT colder than I am used to, but as soon as I got underwater I forgot all about the cold water. Truly one of the most unique dives I have ever experienced, and totally worth it. I am looking forward to coming back to Iceland for more.
Hedinn, it's been a while since I dived Silfra, but still think of it as one of my greatest dives ever. Really enjoyed that crystal clear water. Also charmed by the way you treat your guests!!! Keep up the good works!!!!
Thanks for the great dives at Silfra this July! Nice weather, sunny and cloudy, and was awesome as the sun came back from behind the clouds and shone down in the FRESH water! ;) Very good sight, with both ducks swiming past on the surface and fish below. Awesome!
Yes! I've dived in Silfra under a bright yellow sun at the surface and a crystal clear water below it. Great day where you can combine a fantastic dive with a travel into the past by visiting the historic site of the Alþingi (glad I've found a "þ" on my german computer!) a few meters away. Thanks Hedinn and Arnaud!
There are a lot of dive companies in Iceland. By sheer dumb luck my friend and I found Hedinn on DiveIceland.com to lead us. And are we glad that we went with Hedinn – he easily made the dive one of the best experiences of the vacation. We dove at the end of March. The weather was cold and windy. While other divers were waiting around in the wind (15m/s) to go in, Hedinn had us in the water in less than 15 minutes! If you’re in Reykjavik, you don’t need to drive to the dive site, the crew will pick you up. And you don’t need to have dry suit experience as long as you’re comfortable with scuba diving. If you’re a diver, don’t miss the chance to dive at Silfra, you’ll love it.
Silfra was my first drysuite experience and will definitely not be the last. this dive with all its beauty and magical, mystical flair will stay in my mind forever. the perfect symmetry, the bluest lagoon, dream sceneries everywhere you look!
This was my first commercial snorkelling expedition. It was great. The swim was at Thingvellir, and the drysuits kept us warm and dry. The visibility was great, and it was great to dive at a place that is so well-known that I can show it to others on a map, AND there is a story to tell about the place
If you're like me and have done all your dives in warm tropical waters, with lots of coral...then you MUST do this dive. It's an absolute one of a kind, and for this reason, absolutely stunning, and probably be one of your most memorable. The visibility will blow you away...but, I won't ruin it for others; as you have to do it yourself.
Amazing dive. Thanks Héðinn.
Well, not many people can say their first time snorkelling was in Iceland! Such fun, an awesome experience and no where near as chilly as you'd imagine!!! Thanks for a great time!! :o)
